Communication was great throughout the process - from booking the first session to try on, right through to collecting my dress after the complementary pre-wedding steam.

Rookery Bridal have a huge choice of dresses to view/try on and there was plenty of time with no rush which made for the perfect experience with my mum and bridesmaids. Sarah was great at adjusting/fitting the dresses to give you the best idea of how it would look once you have the right size.

Sarah is passionate about her dresses, referring to each of them as ‘she’. It really felt like Sarah wanted the best outcome for me. Having tried on a number of dresses in the shop, she suggested one that took all the elements I liked and was pretty much perfect. After a visit to another shop, I needed to make a decision between two dresses. Sarah was patient and, during a second visit, explained what possible alterations could be made to the dress. She even contacted the designer/factory and arranged for main alterations to be made to the dress at the point of making the dress to avoid making the alterations later down the line. We also picked out the perfect veil to go with my dress. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah!

What an incredible experience. From stepping in the door and being so incredibly nervous, I was instantly put at ease, and felt so welcomed into the boutique. They allowed me to express myself and gave me the time and affection to trial lots of different things (even though we knew straight away which one we loved!). I could not recommend Rookery enough. The staff was incredibly patient as I tried on numerous dresses. They never made me feel rushed or like I was choosing the wrong options. I appreciated that they allowed me to explore, take my time, and even come back to try on the dress I thought I wanted again — which I ultimately bought! The atmosphere was relaxing and stress-free, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

When I had my alterations done elsewhere, a small issue arose, and they offered to help fix it for free, which was so kind and I felt looked after.

I cannot praise Rookery Bridal enough. I was very apprehensive about looking for a wedding dress but still wanted the full dress try on experience like you see on TV. They fully delivered and were beyond supportive!! It's such a lovely environment. I live in North Devon so travelled over an hour to get there and it was completely worth it. I’m not typically the ‘girly’ type, but my sister discovered Rookery Bridal, and we decided to make the trip from Plymouth. It was absolutely worth it. I was initially nervous stepping out of my comfort zone, but the team made me feel at ease, catering to all types of brides. Each staff member assisted us on different occasions, offering personalized help. With such a wide range of beautiful dresses and styles I never felt rushed or pressured and my family felt warmly welcomed too. The variety of choices is impressive, and the customer service is exceptional. A special thank you to Gemma too for the last couple times visiting, she was incredible and thoroughly went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.
