Sarah Hackett Boutique Owner Hi, I’m Sarah — the owner of Rookery Bridal. My bridal journey began 14 years ago when I was searching for my own wedding gown. I visited several boutiques on my own, hoping for that magical moment… but instead, I was shocked by how I was treated in more than one place. I remember thinking, “I can do this — and I can do it better.” Now, if you get to know me, you’ll learn that making a bold statement like that isn’t something that comes naturally to me. But what does come naturally is making people feel heard, comfortable, and truly special. I’m intuitive, I care deeply, and I want “normal” people to have an experience that feels anything but ordinary. That’s why I created Sarahs Bridal Wardrobe and went on to buy Rookery Bridal: a cosy, comfortable, safe boutique where customer care and quality come first. I’m passionate about helping as many brides as I can, without pressure, without pretense — just genuine support. A bride once told me, “You’re so normal — I was expecting stuck-up, but you’re genuinely a breath of fresh air.” That comment meant the world to me, because it captured exactly what I hope brides feel when they walk through my door.   "Customer care and quality are integral to everything we do. Rookery Bridal is a where you will be listened to, encouraged, and helped to find your Dream Dress. We are experts in finding you your perfect dress to suit you and your body shape. We endeavour to make you feel calm, relaxed and, of course, we want you to have fun!

We are a bridal boutique conveniently located in near Burnham on sea, helping brides from the towns of Weston super mare, Bridgwater, Taunton and all around Somerset, find their dream dress.

We will guide you through all the different styles and help you to become confident in the decision you make. Our patience and understanding are key. We want you to feel special and by being welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, and considerate, we hope to provide the best bridal experience.

Sarah has owned Rookery Bridal since 2019 and is passionate about what she does: she and her team will work incredibly hard to ensure that every bride is made to feel special. Not just at their first appointment but on their entire bridal journey from their first visit to their wedding day.

Our carefully selected samples from our beautiful designers are in store in sizes 10 to 24, so you do not need to worry if you are concerned about your figure. We want everyone to feel comfortable. Our gowns are available to order from a size 2 to 36 too.

We are here to guide you through until you find the dress that is just right for you. Our expertise will help you find a gown that will make you feel gorgeous that you can confidently know is The One.
